Embry-Riddle offers online ground schools

By Janice Wood · June 26, 2009 ·

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Worldwide Campus, through its Office of Professional Education, is now offering two new online courses that prepare students for the FAA Commercial Pilot and/or FAA Instrument Rating flight training and written tests.

The new courses build on Embry-Riddle’s successful online FAA Private Pilot Ground School, a 15-week course. The new Commercial Pilot and Instrument Rating ground schools also last 15 weeks, and new classes will start nearly every month. A CFI oversees each online course section, guides the students, and focuses the knowledge on practical application in the cockpit.
