Legend Cub cooperative ownership program unveiled

By Janice Wood · June 29, 2009 ·

American Legend Aircraft Co. has launched a Cooperative Ownership Program.

cubUnder the program, a Legend Cub can be purchased for as little as $2,900 down for a one-quarter share in a plane, and flown for as little as $28 per hour, according to officials with the Sulphur Springs, Texas-based company, which makes the LSA.

The new Legend Cub Cooperative Ownership Program is made available through LetsFly.org, a professionally managed company in business since 1999. LetsFly has developed cooperative aircraft ownership programs, including discounts and benefits, for customers throughout the U.S. The LetsFly concept solves the myriad problems faced by pilots such as aircraft utilization, capitalization, insurance, and financing. By utilizing cooperative agreements, the cooperative efforts of its members, and other proprietary factors, the LetsFly Cooperative Ownership Program can substantially reduce the cost of flying and aircraft ownership.
