Northland AMT program takes flight

By Janice Wood · June 30, 2009 ·

The AMT program at Northland Community & Technical College, which has three campuses in Minnesota, has taken new flight with a new director, Scott Fletcher.

northland-aviation-2“We know that the aviation industry is dynamic and constantly evolving,” Fletcher said. “Focusing on such will allow for us to be proactive in the development and implementation of new and unique opportunities.

“We know we have a world-class educational program and facility, along with the ability to graduate the finest mechanics,” he continued.

The program boasts a 100% placement rate for graduates, he noted.

“We have been extremely successful placing our students with viable, healthy companies, allowing them to get off to a great start in their new career,” he said.
