LiveAirShowTV will broadcast the National Aviation Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony from Dayton, Ohio, over the Internet. Long recognized as “America’s Oscar Night of Aviation,” this annual event honors the achievement of legendary air and space pioneers. This is the first time it will be broadcast live on the Intnet.
“This is an event that not everyone is able to attend,” says Jeff Lee LiveAirShowTV’s president. “Our goal is to bring the best air shows from across the country, as well as unique aviation events that allow people from all over the world to participate.”
This year’s Hall of Fame class includes Space Shuttle Astronaut Eileen Collins, former Cessna CEO Russell Meyer, Jr., the late Astronaut Ed White II, and legendary film actor and World War II bomb group commander Jimmy Stewart.
Additionally the Apollo astronauts will be honored with the NAHF Milton Caniff “Spirit of Flight” Award in a ceremony the night before. That program’s panel discussion with 13 astronauts, led by moderator David Hartman, will be broadcast during the dinner portion of Saturday night’s enshrinement ceremony.
The broadcast can be seen live starting at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 18, (Eastern) by going to www.LiveAirShowTV.com. Archived versions will be available for viewing after the live event.
