Free manual mixture control with Engine Information System

By Janice Wood · July 24, 2009 ·

Green Sky Adventures, Inc. is offering an HACman mixture control as a free incentive with the purchase of any Grand Rapids Technologies Engine Information System with FlowScan Fuel Flow.

greenskyIf you know what’s going on inside your engine, you can optimize your fuel burn to take maximum advantage of every drop of fuel, and GRT’s EIS tells you everything you need to know, for that and additional engine functions: RPM, CHT, EGT, Volts, Hours, and Flight Timer, Green Sky Adventures officials said. Packages vary with application, but all include Fuel Flow function, Totalizer – and the HACman manual mixture control, which lets you run on the right numbers all the time. In a two-stroke, the HACman reduces the chance of piston seizure from running too lean, and saves fuel by keeping the engine from running too rich, company officials explain. The right mixture helps four-strokes, too, keeping the engine at optimum performance, keeping the oil clean and saving fuel, officials add.

Pricing for the GRT EIS starts at $890, including U.S. shipping. The GRT EIS works with most Experimental 2- and 4-stroke engines; the HACman Mixture Control is compatible with most HKS, Jabiru, and Rotax 2 or 4 stroke engines equipped with Bing Carburetors.
