Travel Aire Tours will lead the seventh annual VIP tour for American aviators to China next March, but the upcoming tour includes something extra: Those on the tour will be honored guests at the opening of Phase I of the 300-acre Flying Tigers Heritage Park at the old Yang Tang Airfield outside Guilin, Chin.
The tour, which costs $3,249 (per person, double occupancy), is for 19 days – from March 12-13, 2010 – and is all inclusive from San Francisco, including accommodations at five-star hotels, most meals, English-speaking guides, admissions and transport.
The tour includes visits to Shanghai, Beijing, the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, Xi’an and Clay Soldiers, Guilin and Li River, Three Gorges Dam, Asia’s largest aviation museum, as well as a five-night Yangtze River Cruise aboard a five-star ship.
