The 2009-10 edition of World Directory of Leisure Aviation (WDLA) has been released.
The edition is the weightiest in the publication’s 15-year history, according to the publishers, who note the decision was made to give footlaunched aircraft and paraplanes a directory of their own. Called World Directory of Free-Flight (WDFF), it was published in May. The space released in WDLA has been used to provide new sections on instrumentation and certified gliders and motorgliders.
The two volumes cover everything from microlights to Light Sport Aircraft to helicopters and more. They also include information on accessories, propellers, avionics, training and international flying events, plus the addresses of national and international sporting bodies.
Price: $16.50. The directory is available in English, French and German.
