Chambliss takes top spot in Red Bull Races

Today in Budapest, Hungary, American Kirby Chambliss took first place in both rounds of qualifying at the fourth stop of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship, setting the fastest time on the track so far this week.

RedBull2RedBullChambliss came in at 221 mph with the fastest times in both qualifying rounds, earning him one World Championship point going into Race Day. Austrian Hannes Arch followed over a half-second behind with 2009 rookie Australian Matt Hall coming in with the third fastest time.

The entire 2009 season will begin airing on Fox Sports Network in September.
