Giant-scale models of jets, warbirds and helicopters will land on the runway behind the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force in Dayton, Ohio, from Sept. 4-6.
The 14th Annual Giant Scale Radio-Controlled Model Aircraft Air Show is scheduled during Labor Day weekend and features aircraft from all eras of aviation history. Nearly 150 pilots will perform aerobatic maneuvers with RC (radio-controlled) aircraft.
Sponsored by the Dayton Ohio Giant Scalers, the air show is scheduled each day from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The aircraft will perform a half-time show from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily.
The event is open to the public, and admission and parking are free. Food and merchandise will be available for purchase.
