Chesapeake Sport Pilot at Bay Bridge Airport in Stevensville, Md., will hold an open house for people interested in learning about flight lessons, inactive pilots looking to return to aviation, and active pilots looking to expand their aviation opportunities. The open house, slated for 9 a.m. Sept. 26, will celebrate the opening of the school’s new 6,000-foot maintenance, office and classroom facility.
Planned activities include a new Tecnam P2006T on display, seminars, Young Eagle rides for youth ages 8-17 (9 a.m.-12 p.m.), adult introductory flights (12 p.m.-3 p.m.), information about Chesapeake Sport Pilot’s new seaplane club, as well as information about flight lessons, aircraft checkouts and recurrency training.
