Galvin Flying Services, an FBO at Boeing Field in Seattle, has appointed Dave Mutzel director of flight operations, Doug Wilson director of business development and marketing, Chris Bollert operations manager, and Nancy Sheckler-Cecchi client services manager.
As the director of flight operations, Mutzel will manage the charter department. He also will continue to manage the flight school and aircraft sales departments. Mutzel’s relationship with Galvin began as an aircraft owner who leased his plane to the aircraft sales department for demonstration flights. Later, he received his CFI and began training students at Galvin. In 2008, he earned his FAA Gold Seal and became the director of flight training.
Wilson will oversee the company’s marketing efforts. He also will continue to serve as the director of the line and real estate departments. Prior to joining Galvin in 2006, he worked with Signature Flight Support.
Bollert, will conduct the day-to-day operations of the line department and coordinate the efforts of the line service supervisory group. A 20-year veteran of Galvin and third-generation aviation professional, he also will continue his existing responsibilities of line safety and training as well as improving the service and safety of the line service program. Bollert began his career with Galvin as an aircraft groomer, and has held the positions of line service supervisor and training and safety manager prior to his new role.
Sheckler-Cecchi, who will be responsible for customer service, has been with the company 30 years.
