2010 FAR/AIM available

By Janice Wood · September 1, 2009 ·

ASA’s 2010 FAR/AIM Series is now available.

Both the FAR for Flight Crews and FAR for Aviation Maintenance Technicians are available. The FAR/AIM book and Flight Library Pro DVD will be available Sept. 9.

ASAFarAimASA consolidates the FAA regulations and procedures into three reference books and one DVD with information pertinent to pilots, flight crew, and aviation maintenance technicians (AMTs). In all ASA FAR/AIM Series books the changes are marked clearly for quick reference.

The Aeronautical Information Manual is reformatted for greater readability, according to ASA officials.

FAR/AIM Series Updates are available as free downloads and/or through a free email subscription service for automatic notification when a rule has changed. With the Federal Register released daily, yet the books and DVD only printed once a year, this update service ensures pilots stay informed throughout the year, ASA officials note.

Prices range from $16.95 to $79.95.
