Deadline for the Iowa Aviation Photography Contest is Oct. 9.
Contest winners receive recognition, customized certificates, and a chance to make it in the annual Iowa Aviation Calendar, according to state aviation officials, who note the photos are also used to educate the public and promote aviation throughout the state of Iowa.
