AOPA to unveil 2010 sweepstakes plane during Summit

By Janice Wood · October 8, 2009 ·

AOPA will unveil the 2010 Sweepstakes plane next month during the AOPA Aviation Summit in Tampa. The unveiling will take place Thursday, Nov. 5 – the first day of the AOPA Aviation Summit – on the floor of the exhibit hall.

Unlike earlier sweepstakes, which have run on calendar years, the 2010 sweepstakes will run from Summit 2009 to the fall of 2010. The winner of the 2010 prize will be announced at next year’s Summit in Long Beach, California. The 2009 prize, a 2005 Cirrus SR22, will be awarded in early 2010 after the sweepstakes closes on Dec. 31.

The AOPA Sweepstakes is open to anyone who joins or renews their membership in AOPA during the sweepstakes period.
