iTowBots debut

By Janice Wood · October 12, 2009 ·

towbots 2The iTowBots remote control aircraft tugs are now available at Aircraft Spruce.

The iTowBot’s loading sequence is as easy as driving the unit directly under the nosewheel of your aircraft, according to company officials, who note the iTowbot is engineered so that when the aircraft loads, the weight of the loaded aircraft does not inhibit its zero-turn capability. A foot-operated release allows the operator to unlock the swivel carriage and back out from beneath the nosewheel. The operator can drive the unit back to its spot in the hangar, with no tugging, pushing or rolling up extension cords required, officials note.

There are multiple models of the iTowBot remote control aircraft tug to fit any aircraft application, including standard units, dual wheel carriage units, wheel pant units, heavy duty units, and more. The iTowBot is also available with or without an APU. Prices start at $7,495.
