Warbird Adventures and Kissimmee Air Museum, both located at Florida’s Kissimmee Gateway Airport (ISM), will host a fly-in and community event in celebration of Oktoberfest on Saturday, Oct.17.
Oktoberfest will feature Kissimmee Air Museum’s restored German aircraft, while Valiant Air Command’s World War II C-47 TICO Belle and T-6 Texans will be available for flights. Kissimmee Air Museum guests will also receive a behind-the-scenes tour of a World War II German Fighter FW 190 aircraft.
Story Musgrave, a pilot, astronaut and author, will share his story and experiences from World War II. He will be autographing his biography, “Story: The Way of Water” by Anne Lenehan, as well as three books he co-wrote: “The NASA Northrop T-38”; “Photographic Art from an Astronaut Pilot” and “Australia from Space.”
The event will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $6 for adults and $3 for children.
