The 57th Fighter Group Restaurant has reopened at Atlanta’s DeKalb-Peachtree Airport (PDK).
Under the new ownership of Pat Epps of Epps Aviation, the World War II-themed restaurant has updated its menu and facilities.
The 57th Fighter Group Restaurant menu features a variety of popular American cuisines. Many of the restaurant’s long time favorite dishes, including beer cheese soup, have reappeared on the menu.
A destination for pilots and aviation enthusiasts alike, guests can enjoy watching airplanes from their tables in the dining room, lounge or the patio at the edge of the runway, according to company officials. The aviation experience is enhanced with headsets placed throughout the restaurant so guests can listen in to the PDK airport tower communications. Diners flying into the restaurant will enjoy shuttle service compliments of Epps Aviation.

Ate dinner on 9/17/11 there. Food was great, staff friendly. Sat at window with the biplane used for flights over the area right outside.
In the past they had a DJ and some really good dancers on certain nights.
Are you having dances there now?
A sky full of thanks to the Epps family for reopening the 57th!
I feel right at home! joyful
