Self-fueling station now open at SLN

By Janice Wood · October 25, 2009 ·

A 100LL avgas self-service fueling station is now open at Salina Municipal Airport (SLN) in Salina, Kan.

Addition of the self-fueling station is part of the airport authority’s goal of “growing and sustaining general aviation operations” at the airport, according to officials.

The self-fuel terminal has been open for a little more than a week with the fuel prices set at $3.67 per gallon. It takes all major credit and debit cards. Accessory equipment, including a ladder, steps and chalk, are available. A hazardous material spill kit is also located on site for safety. A self-fueling training slide show is available on the airport authority’s website.
