Richmor Aviation (SWF) joins AvFuel network

By Janice Wood · October 29, 2009 ·

Richmor FBORichmor Aviation Stewart of Stewart International Airport (SWF) in New York has joined the Avfuel branded network.

Avfuel Corporation now supplies Richmor Aviation Stewart with aviation fuel and related services, including its fueling rewards program, AVTRIP. As part of the alliance, Richmor Aviation is now a dealer of Avfuel Contract Fuel, a program allowing aircraft owner/operators to procure jet fuel at less-than-retail rates.

Richmor Aviation offers a passenger lounge, snooze rooms, showers, crew cars and a pilot lounge with television. An extra large ramp provides plenty of parking space and overnight hangar space is available, according to FBO officials, adding the 12,000-foot runway can handle any size of aircraft from a single engine to a 747.

The immediate area boasts the Metro North trains station to Yankee Stadium and Manhattan. Just 30minutes travel by car brings visitors to a large concentration of discount shopping, while Manhattan is just over an hour away.
