SportairUSA unveils certified pre-owned LSA program

SportairUSA has unveiled its new Certified Pre-Owned Light Sport Aircraft program.

According to officials with the Little Rock-based company, which is the North American distributor for Sting and Sirius LSAs, every pre-owned LSA certified in the program will be sold with a six-month, 50-hour warranty, plus transition flight training for the new owner.

For the buyer, the program furnishes assurance that the aircraft has been thoroughly inspected an maintained by experienced technicians, company officials said, noting all repairs required to qualify for certification will be made by using OEM parts. CFIs will provide five hours of ground training and five hours of transition flight orientation to the new owner, including a biannual flight review.

For the seller, the program provides market exposure, with SportairUSA standing behind the sale, company officials said, noting that while it is on sale, an airplane will be hangared at no cost. SportairUSA will maintain the airplane and conduct any necessary repairs, with the prior approval of the seller and at no cost to the seller until the airplane is sold, company officials add.
