Flying Heritage Collection slates Veterans Day event

The Flying Heritage Collection at Washington state’s Paine Field is hosting a special Veterans Day event Wednesday, Nov. 11. at 11 a.m., featuring remarks from Gov. Christine Gregoire, Congressman Rick Larsen and a panel of veterans recounting their use of modified fighter planes to assist Allied armies near the battlefield. Following the panel, veteran tour guides will be available to highlight the collection’s World War II planes.

Admission is free for all veterans. Military ID required.
