ACR Electronics debuts Next Gen PLBs

SARLink front flash-1ACR Electronics has introduced its newest generation of Personal Locator Beacons (PLBs) — the SARLink 406 MHz GPS PLB.

The one-button activated, emergency signalling device is lighter and comes with a strobe light and multi-use GPS acquisition testing.

The SARLink has new features including: Built-in, bright LED strobe light, which increases visibility to Search and Rescue; 6.3 watt 406 MHz transmission; 0nboard 66-channel parallel GPS acquires, then transmits LAT/LON when the unit is activated, saving time for the distress message to reach local rescue centers, and provide rescue agencies with exact position to within 110 yards.
