Show off your pilot certificate

By Janice Wood · November 15, 2009 ·

pilotplaques091Sporty’s offers a wide selection of personalized pilot plaques, starting at $49.95. Each one faithfully replicates an individual’s FAA pilot certificate, some complete with signature.

“Earning a certificate is often a lifelong dream,” says Sporty’s Vice President John Zimmerman, “and people rightfully want to display the certificate in their home or office to share the accomplishment. These custom-made plaques are a great way to do that.”

Three models are available; each uses a sublimation process to print on an aluminum alloy plate, which results in a high gloss finish that is fade- and scratch-resistant. The Classic Plaque is a traditional design with a solid wood base. The Deluxe Plaque features a black base and chrome frame for a vibrant, modern look. The Elite Plaque is Sporty’s top-of-the-line model, whose solid wood base features a beautiful, high-gloss piano finish.

All plaques are available in single- or double-sided versions, to display the front, or front and back, of a license. A display stand is also available separately for $5.95.
