More than 20 new members and guests recently participated in the inaugural meeting of the Nashua, N.H., Chapter of IMCClubs.org, the 14th chapter started in the last few months.
At the meeting, sponsored by Nashua Flight Simulator, prospective members were given the opportunity to interact with IMCClubs.org founder and president Radek Wyrzykowski, MCFI, and vice president Ken Dustin
“We are an organized hangar flying movement but our primary goal is instrument proficiency and safety,” said Dustin.
IMCClubs.org is planning to announce in the near future, with the cooperation of Nashua Flight Simulator, a “Simulator Challenge Level,” an additional achievement level for IMC Club members. Also a new benefit was established by providing club members with a 10% discount for all training services provided by Nashua Flight Simulator.
The Nashua meeting marked the establishment of the 14th chapter of IMCClubs.org since September of this year when it entered the national arena. The club’s goal is to increase pilot confidence and proficiency in actual IMC conditions. It was established as an additional learning resource for instrument-rated pilots and students pursuing their Instrument Ratings. To accomplish this, bi-weekly meetings are held to help pilots and students build and maintain their IFR skills and to learn from their peers.
