Signature launches mobile site

By Janice Wood · December 14, 2009 ·

Signature Flight Support has launched a mobile website to complement its newly designed corporate website, which was launched at NBAA in October.

The mobile site offers pilots on-the-go access to Signature’s 102 worldwide locations, including airport navigation maps by AC-U-KWIK, FBO contact information, local amenities, and area attractions with hyperlinks to all phone numbers and e-mail addresses.

The site will incorporate Signature Flight Support Corporation’s proprietary fuel pricing calculator when it is launched in the first quarter of 2010. This application will allow pilots and flight planners to calculate total fuel costs and savings by selecting a particular airport, aircraft and uplift amount.

“Our goal is to offer pilots the most up-to-date and relevant data when making their flight planning and FBO decisions” said Patrick Sniffen, vice president marketing for Signature Flight Support Corporation.

The site can be accessed from a mobile device SignatureFlight.com/Mobile.
