New tenants join Million Air SBD

By Janice Wood · January 13, 2010 ·

Million Air will open a new FBO in March at the recently redeveloped San Bernardino International Airport (SBD) in California.

Southeastern Jet Corporation, an aircraft management company, plans to relocate from its Ft. Lauderdale, Florida0based headquarters to Million Air San Bernardino. Southeastern Jet was enticed to the area by the opening of Million Air San Bernardino, the newly renovated airport and the economic incentives offered by Local Agency Military Base Recovery Area (LAMBRA), which will significantly lower its operating costs, according to officials with the 40-year-old company.

“During this very difficult economic period, Southeastern Jet recognized the need for its current and future clients to operate their aircraft in the most cost efficient manner possible without compromising service,” says Pete Loncteaux, owner and CEO of Southeastern Jet. “Our improved economic efficiencies can now be passed on to our clients.”

Presidential Aviation, Inc., will join Southeastern Jet to provide private jet charter services on the west coast. The two companies have a long-standing business relationship dating to Presidential Aviation’s inception in 1998.

“Together we believe that San Bernardino International Airport is the future of general aviation services for the greater Los Angeles metro area,” says Loncteaux.
