IMCClubs.org has formed an alliance with the Society of Aviation and Flight Educators (SAFE). In a Letter of Understanding, both groups agreed to “promote aviation safety awareness, training and instrument proficiency to all airmen.” Under this agreement SAFE will also promote member participation in the IMC Club movement.
“It is a great milestone for us to receive an acknowledgment from such a prestigious aviation organization,” said Radek Wyrzykowski, president of IMCClubs.org. “People view both our organizations as major contributors to aviation safety.”
IMCClubs.org now has its own permanent office at the Norwood Flight Academy at Norwood Memorial Airport (OWD) in Massachusetts.
