The Museum of Flight in Seattle will offer a free presentation of the 2009 feature film about Amelia Earhart, “Amelia,” Feb. 4 at 6:30 p.m. Admission to the museum is free from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. as part of the museum’s Wells Fargo First Free Thursday.
The museum was chosen by Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment as one of only two venues in the country — and the only one on the West Coast — to premiere the new DVD version of the film, which stars Hilary Swank (pictured, as Earhart). The film will be shown in the William M. Allen Theater; seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The movie is shown in conjunction with the museum’s temporary exhibit, In Search of Amelia Earhart.
