DFW goes after GA

By Janice Wood · February 3, 2010 ·

When the Super Bowl comes to North Texas a year from now, Dallas/Fort Worth Airport hopes dozens of corporate jets will use its runways, according to a report in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

At a meeting Feb. 2, airport staff outlined a $3 million project that would boost its general aviation business, including renovating the mothballed American Eagle terminal on the northeast side of the airport so corporate jets could use it. The facility would accommodate more than 70 bizjets, more than double the airport’s current GA facility, which accommodates only 30 aircraft, the story reports.
