Kissimmee Gateway Airport (ISM) in Florida has launched “Touch & Go,” a quarterly newsletter. The newsletter will act as a forum for the airport’s businesses, as well as provide detailed safety and procedural information from the airport and control tower staff, according to airport officials.
“Our goal is to provide pilots, businesses, students and tenants access to valuable news and safety information through the newsletters,” said Terry Lloyd, director of aviation at Kissimmee Gateway Airport. “As the 13th busiest general aviation airport in the United States, we want to encourage everyone to consistently practice safe ground and flight procedures at our Airport.”
George Stokus, airfield manager, and Glenn Huckeba, control tower facility manager, will contribute informational news articles to assist students and pilots at the airport.
