Exhibitor count up for AERO

By Janice Wood · February 17, 2010 ·

The team organizing this year’s AERO international aviation trade show in Friedrichshafen, Germany, promises this year’s event will be better than ever, with exhibitor numbers exceeding initial expectations.

logo-1Project Manager Thomas Grunewald has expressed strong confidence in the trade show, to be held on the grounds of Messe Friedrichshafen from April 8-12. “We asked exhibitors at AERO 2007 whether they wanted an annual event,” he says. “Around 330 said yes, and in 2010 we’ll be playing host to some 400 companies.”

There also has been an increase in international participation, Grunewald adds. “We’re delighted that, despite the initial skepticism, particularly in the German market, a significant proportion of the world’s leading general aviation companies will be represented.” Occupying nine halls, this year’s event will be the 18th edition of AERO.
