Sandra Brandes, 42, of Ottawa, Kansas, was recently sentenced to 15 months in federal prison without parole, after admitting in a plea agreement that she embezzled more than $77,000 from her employer. She used some of those funds to finance construction of an RV-9A.
As part of her plea agreement, she has to transfer title of the experimental to her former employer, a dentist, according to a story at AvStop.com.
