The Finer Points of Flying debuts Virtual Office Hours

By Janice Wood · February 17, 2010 ·

The Finer Points of Flying has introduced Virtual Office Hours.

Through one-on-one video chat or telephone appointments, Jason Miller, a CFI and the host of The Finer Points of Flying, elaborates on some of the finer points of particular courses of training in sessions that replicate dual ground training. Virtual Office Hours helps pilots of all levels get the perspective of a seasoned CFI, Miller notes, adding th  sessions are a supplement to primary instruction and allow for multiple perspectives regarding the fundamental aspects of flight training.

The Finer Points blends fundamentals of flight instruction with storytelling and music. From coaching on crosswind landings to explanations of meteorological conditions and everything in between, the online video series and its companion series of podcasts are online guides to questions and concerns facing student pilots, pilots wanting to be better and safer, and aviation enthusiasts.

The library of aviation videos, safety sessions, lectures and industry interviews can be found at TheFinerPoints.net and iTunes.com.
