Applications now being accepted for graduate research

By Janice Wood · February 23, 2010 ·

The Transportation Research Board’s Airport Cooperative Research Program is accepting applications for its Graduate Research Award Program in Public-Sector Aviation Issues for the 2010-2011 academic year. The program, sponsored by the FAA, is designed to encourage research on airport and related aviation system issues and to foster the next generation of aviation leaders.

Under the program, up to 10 awards of $10,000 each will be made to full-time graduate students for successful completion of a research paper on public-sector airport-related aviation issues for presentation at the 2012 TRB Annual Meeting and possible publication. Candidates must be full-time students enrolled in a graduate degree program at an accredited institution of higher learning during the 2010-11 academic year. Applications must be received no later than May 19, 2010.
