New flight school opens at Flabob Airport

By Janice Wood · March 3, 2010 ·

Rogers

Dave Rogers, CFII, has moved his flight training operation to Flabob Airport (RIR) in Riverside, Calif. He brought six aircraft with him, including a pair of Skyhawks, a Skylane, a Comanche, Apache and a 415C Ercoupe LSA.

Rogers Aviation is open seven days a week, normally from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with other times available by appointment. It is possible to earn all ratings from Sport Pilot through Commercial and Multi Engine Instrument.

To assist the Wathen Foundation’s program of offering flight training for high school students engaged in rebuilding their Stinson or Skycoupe, Rogers said he also has access to a Tecnam LSA. A number of students are currently pursuing their private pilot ratings.
