Delta Connection Academy names Woessner Senior VP

Delta Connection Academy (DCA) has named Paul Woessner, Jr. senior vice president.

Prior to joining the DCA team, Woessner was with Boeing Training & Flight Services, where he spent four years as a director of flight resources and Multi-Crew Pilot License (MPL). His background also includes serving as the North America director of fleet sales for Diamond Aircraft Industries, Inc., the executive director of the Center for Aviation Training at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, vice president and general manager at U.S. Airship Leasing, Inc. and president of Virgin Lightships, Inc. /Vintage Airways, Inc.

He holds a Bachelor of Science from Iowa State University. He was the first man to successfully fly a balloon across Lake Michigan, holds National Aeronautic Association world records, has twice been named a World Hot Air Balloon Champion and regularly speaks at aviation conferences.
