FlightWorks opens office at PDK

By Janice Wood · March 7, 2010 ·

FlightWorks, Inc. recently opened a sales office at Peachtree-DeKalb Airport (PDK) in Atlanta. Jeff Wright, FlightWorks’ newest regional sales director, will head the new office, located at Signature Flight Support’s PDK location.

Wright has more than 17 years of sales and management experience. Prior to joining FlightWorks, he was southeastern territory sales manager at MedAire, Inc. He has also served as president of Air Medical Consultants, program director at Medway Air Ambulance, and investment consultant at Wachovia Securities. In addition, Wright’s background includes military service as an operations specialist/training supervisor, as well as a supervisor/recruiter.

The Peachtree-DeKalb Airport is the second busiest airport in Georgia in number of operations, only behind Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Classified as a general aviation reliever airport for the Atlanta metropolitan area, the airport is located in the northeastern part of DeKalb County, only eight miles from the heart of downtown Atlanta. Peachtree-DeKalb Airport currently hosts three fixed wing and one helicopter FBO, as well as 125 aviation-related tenants. Approximately 590 aircraft are based on the field. The airport has averaged approximately 228,000 operations (take-offs and landings) per year over the past 30 years.

In addition to opening a new sales office at Peachtree-DeKalb Airport, FlightWorks has also expanded its borders and strengthened its presence in the Western U.S. region with the recent opening of new sales offices in Boise, Idaho, and Salt lake City, Utah
