A new program that explores the benefits of general aviation has been added to the 64th Annual Conference & Trade Show for the Florida Aviation Trades Association (FATA), which is slated for June 14-16, at the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village in St. Augustine.
The conference is designed to allow members to connect with industry leaders and participate in financial, legal and social marketing discussions. Businesses from the Jacksonville and St. Augustine area are being invited to the new program, “Beyond the Runway: Why general aviation means business,” which will explore the benefits of general aviation, community airports and explain the powerful economic impact the industry has in their cities.
FATA Executive Director, Paula Raeburn explains: “Our industry has to be more proactive about explaining the importance of our industry to non-aviation businesses. They need to know what services the industry provides to the community on a daily basis and how having an airport in their community is an asset.”
