SimCom relocates Piper training to Orlando

By Janice Wood · April 14, 2010 ·

SimCom Training Centers has moved all Piper training from Vero Beach, Florida, to Orlando.

SimCom will continue to offer customers in-aircraft training as part of the initial and recurrent courses, company officials said. Additionally, a new Meridian simulator equipped with the G1000 avionics suite is under development and will be added later this year to SimCom’s existing fleet of Piper sims.

Tracy Brannon, senior vice president and managing director, states, “We are proud and honored to have signed a new exclusive training agreement with Piper, which remains in effect until December 2016. This new agreement extends SimCom’s long-standing relationship with Piper, which began in 1999.”
