The Duncan Aviation Challenger Program recently developed an aircraft environmental system testing procedure. By measuring cabin air performance (temperature and airflow) at different points throughout the system, Challenger technicians are able to pinpoint the area of the system causing cabin discomfort.
According to Duncan Aviation Challenger Tech Rep Scott Shefke, “Without a thorough system evaluation, determining the cause with traditional testing methods is somewhat of a guessing game.”
The new Duncan Aviation Challenger Environmental System Evaluation is fully portable and the aircraft can continue to fly immediately after testing with results and any applicable quotes available in as little as three days, company officials said.
