Red Canoe launches 2010 catalog

By Janice Wood · May 17, 2010 ·

Red Canoe-National Heritage Brands has released its 2010 catalog. Founder and Creative Director Dax Wilkinson says, “We seek inspiration in both landscape and history – whether it be aviation, bush flying or iconic Canadian institutions.”

New in the Aviation category is the Boeing Collection, the first and only licensing partnership involving all of the American aviation giant’s storied archives, according to Wilkinson. The collection, which is set to launch in early fall, will feature Boeing’s current, historic and acquired logo marks in a collection of twill kit bags, flying jackets, T-shirts, collectable appliqué caps and more. Wilkinson’s passion for aviation – evident in his collaborations with Cessna, Piper, Bell Helicopters, deHavilland Aircraft of Canada and the Royal Canadian Air Cadets – is the driving force behind this collection.
