Wicks Aircraft Supply has developed nine videos to assist aircraft builders in working with products or materials related to their construction projects. Each of the videos can be accessed by going online to WicksAircraft.com and then clicking on “video demonstrations” link, which is in the upper left hand corner of the home page.
The current list of videos, which run 3 to 7 minutes in length, includes: choosing a wire size; cleco demonstration; explanation of rivets; cutting sheet aluminum with aviation snips; machine countersinking demonstration; deburring tool demonstration; rescue tape demonstration; rescue tape testimonials; and rib stitching with Superflite knot. Based on the number of hits and customer comments, Wicks intends to continue to add to the list.
