Aviation artists and aficionados from all over the globe come to San Diego for the festivities of the American Society of Aviation Artists’ (ASAA) 24th Annual International Aerospace Art Exhibition, which kicked off June 8. After the grand opening and unveiling, a week-long forum provides a rare chance to meet dozens of artists from four continents, including Smithsonian muralist Keith Ferris, acclaimed aerospace master John Clark and award-winning Charles J. Thompson.

The American Society of Aviation Artists is a non-profit organization founded in 1986 to bring together persons who share a love of art and aviation, and to affirm standards of professionalism, authenticity & artistic quality in aviation art.
