Eagle Creek brings home the gold

By Janice Wood · June 16, 2010 ·

Eagle Creek Aviation Services, Inc., a full-service provider of Twin Commander aircraft sales, service and refurbishments, received the Gold Award for 2009 Service Center of the Year. The award represents one of the highest levels of recognition at the recent Twin Commander Service Center Symposium, company officials note.

Members of Eagle Creek's award-winning Twin Commander team (left to right): Mark Niehaus, Penny Lowe, Randy Morelock, Mike Grabbe, Andy Thimlar, Dan Smock and John Fleischmann.

Three members of the Eagle Creek staff also received awards:

  • Dan Smock was given the Grand Renaissance Award for exceeding customer expectations and serving the Twin Commander fleet with integrity and zeal.
  • Mike Grabbe received the Outstanding Technical Support Award for outstanding support and leadership of the Twin Commander aircraft fleet.
  • Penny Lowe earned the Parts Support Award for outstanding support and leadership of the Twin Commander aircraft fleet.

“I’m incredibly proud of our whole team,” said Eagle Creek CEO Matt Hagans, “and especially of Dan, Mike and Penny. It’s gratifying to see their hard work recognized by the Twin Commander community.”

Hagans also served as a presenter and panelist at the Oklahoma City symposium on two topics: The State of the Twin Commander Fleet and the Twin Commander Grand Renaissance program. Eagle Creek has performed dozens of the Grand Renaissance complete refurbishments for Twin Commander owners worldwide.
