Sporty’s now offers flight training video courses made specifically for mobile devices. Available as an add-on option to Sporty’s Online Flight Training Courses, the new Mobile Video Courses are offered for the Recreational, Private and Instrument ratings.
The new Mobile Video Courses are optimized for mobile devices, including iPhone, iPad and Android smartphones. Training progress is synched to the Online Course, so users have accurate records no matter which format is used, according to Sporty’s officials. The courses offer two viewing options: a 3G/4G version streams over wireless data networks, while a WiFi version displays a higher quality format when accessing the courses over WiFi networks. Both versions play in full-screen size.
