Sporty’s reports that more than 1 million people have viewed the free clips posted at YouTube of the company’s training courses. Sporty’s has posted more than 60 clips from its courses, such as Sporty’s Complete Flight Training Courses, the What You Should Know Series and the Air Facts series, including primary flight training tips, instrument flying tips, aviation entertainment, and demos of Sporty’s products and training programs.
“What’s great is that YouTube is accessed by a wide-range of people – from individuals exploring aviation for the first time right through to very experienced pilots,” said Sporty’s Academy Vice President Bret Koebbe.
Viewers will find exclusive HD video shot from both in the air and on the ground, including aerobatics, island flying and exclusive views of airplanes such as the Airbus A380. “Our video crew is continuously traveling, capturing the sights and sounds of aviation, with the main goal to show how much fun flying can be,” says Koebbe. “Recently we have added some videos I made just while traveling – for example, I put together a quick video of sunrise at North Las Vegas Airport which proved quite popular on YouTube.”
Typically Sporty’s adds new YouTube content weekly. Individuals can subscribe to the Sporty’s YouTube channel and receive weekly updates on program content. For more information: Sportys.com or 800-SPORTYS.
