Cirrus offers incentives

By Janice Wood · July 4, 2010 ·

Cirrus Aircraft has unveiled two incentives for customers looking to upgrade to a new aircraft. New orders for an X-Edition or Xi personalized airplane placed before the end of this year’s Airventure, July 31, will include air conditioning at no additional cost.

Additionally, for owners in the U.S. selling their current Cirrus and upgrading to a new model who broker the deal through Cirrus Certified by July 31, Cirrus will apply the normal 4.9% brokerage fee as a credit on the new airplane purchase. And when the brokered aircraft meets Cirrus Certified requirements, Cirrus will also enhance the warranty on the pre-owned airplane to six full months or 100 hours.

Vice President of Domestic Sales Jon Dauplaise, commented, “We’ve been listening to our customers. They’ve asked for more value in their new airplane purchase and in reselling their existing Cirrus to upgrade to a new one. Earlier this year we announced the availability of air conditioning across the entire piston product line, including SR20.” He notes the air condition is not an STC or aftermarket installation, but installed right on the production line.
