Insurance underwriter Starr Aviation has signed on as a supporter of the AOPA Insurance Agency’s Accident Forgiveness and Deductible Waiver Enhancement program. The program rewards safe flying by pilots who demonstrate their continuing commitment to aviation safety education.
Under the program, Starr Aviation will waive the deductible, up to $500, provided the pilot involved has completed an approved training event by a recognized provider, such as an AOPA Air Safety Foundation online course or in-person safety seminar, in the six months preceding the occurrence or aircraft accident, or has completed any phase of the FAA Wings program in the 12 months preceding an occurrence or aircraft accident.
Starr Aviation is the fourth underwriter for the AOPA Insurance Agency to offer accident forgiveness.
