FPR wins top spot for customs facility

By Janice Wood · July 13, 2010 ·

The St. Lucie County International Airport (FPR), U.S. Customs and Border Protection Facility (CBP), in Fort Pierce, Florida, was selected as the top aviation-related U.S. Customs and Border Protection Facility from a survey recently conducted by FltPlan.com for its 2010 Pilots’ Choice Awards.

FltPlan.com, a provider of flight planning services for corporate and business aircraft in the United States with more than 95,000 active registered users, announced that the St. Lucie County airport’s customs facility had received the top ranking out of 170 CBP facilities listed nationwide.

FltPlan.com provides information and tools necessary for pilots to create, file and manage flights within the U.S., the Bahamas, and to or from Canadian/Mexican airports. For more information: FltPlan.com.
