Kevin Hiatt has joined the staff of the Flight Safety Foundation as executive vice president. In this role, he will take on certain safety projects, as well as day-to-day office management.
Hiatt comes to the foundation from World Airways, Inc., where, starting in 2005, he served as director and then vice president for corporate safety and security. Prior to 2005, he was with Delta Air Lines for 26 years in various positions, including chief pilot at the Atlanta International pilot crew base from 2002 to late 2005.
Flight Safety Foundation is an independent, non-profit, international organization engaged in research, auditing, education, advocacy and publishing to improve aviation safety.
